About the Event - Alumni, Friends & Family Challenge Play SCRABBLE®

Frontier College’s SCRABBLE® Alumni, Friends and Family Challenge is a fun and easy way for Canadians to help improve literacy within their communities. Hosting a SCRABBLE® party can occur any time of the year. Whether it’s an office bash with forty word lovers or a living room gathering with your closest friends and neighbours, you can help make literacy a reality for Canadians in need.

Choose a date, invite friends and family to your home, cottage, or office to play SCRABBLE® and make a donation of $25, $50, $100, $500 or more to support Frontier College literacy programs. Together we can help Canadians live up to their full potential and break the cycle of intergenerational low literacy, poverty and isolation, one tile and one triple word score at a time.

It is hard to comprehend that more than 40% of adult Canadians have trouble with everyday tasks involving reading and writing. By playing SCRABBLE® and raising money, you can help Frontier College improve literacy rates across the country.

Get started today. Choose a date and invite your friends, family and neighbours and ask them to make a donation to support literacy.

It’s about playing SCRABBLE®, having fun and making a difference in someone’s life – one tile, one triple letter and one triple word score at a time.
